'Little Rit' was my first and closest friend at Woodward. I was 6'3" tall and she was at least a foot shorter. Because of our complection and height differences, friends would call us "salt and pepper " when we walked to class. I left Cincy the day after graduation and Rita was one of the last people I said goodbye to. After having been away for forty years, I was saddened to hear from Portia that she had passed. I'll always remember my little buddy and her help in my adjustment to Woodward.
