I, like many, was the recipient of many, MANY of Suzy's "Internet Jokes" -- all those weird, funny, BIZARRE pictures, stories, cartoons -- ALL OF THAT!
This girl nevrer ran out of things to show us -- things far beyond the genius of, say, Monty Python's Flying Circus (which, remember, is still Brittish -- phoo!)
Anyhoo, Suzy was MORE than all those absurd things: she was a true chachamer mensch!
Also! We will probably never be able to live "life in the fast lane" as she did --what with Jack Greffe and her traveling about attending Nascar races!
On your birthday, I was thinking of you. We celebrated our January birthdays together at North Avondale elementary school. I still cannot believe that you are gone. Sorry that you did not make it your your 65th birthday and that we will not get together at the 50th reunion.
Susie,I think of you of often. You were a guiding force in a combination of serious and cynical way of looking at life. I think of Sunshine and where her life is now.
Jeff, I just saw your entry about Susie, and like you, I think about her often. We were best friends at North Avondale Elementary School. I lived at her house, and she lived at mine. I got to see her a few times in the later years when we discovered that we were both living in Florida. After she moved to Texas, we communicated through emails. Sunny married and was living in NY when Susie died. I had her email and sent my sympathy but we have lost touch since. I hope you will be at the 50th so we can share our memories of this dear friend. Cheri
I ran into Susan at a condo in Palm Beach! I was so surprised she would recognize me after all these years. Susie as we called her always amazed me with her keenness. She was so much fun!
My Dear Friend, Suzy ... I think of you every day, and miss you greatly. We had so many great memories over the years. I'm particularly thankful for the time we had together in Texas.
You left us way, way too soon. You were thought of often at our recent reunion. Many friends wished you could have been there. You were, and are, loved. ----- Sharon
