Thyra, You were absolutely one of the most hysterically funny people I ever met. I can never forget sitting next to you in the way back in one of our classrooms. Your sense of humor drove me to tears..
Linda's VOICE is seared in my soul. When she spoke it sounded like the 11th. Commandment. Don't ever get in her way. She found a soul mate in "Her Rabbi". I am quite sure everyone she touched remembers her strong will.
Buzz and I were great friends throughout our senior Year. Buzz worked at WT Grant and we had the opportunity to rent a great apartment as seniors in Mt. Adams. Buzz, Pete Seidner, Steve Rosen and I rented this incredible apartment on lower Celestial for the sum of $45 a month. The apartment is still intact although it has been totally renovayed into a million dollar abode, with an incredible view of the Ohio from the second floor walkout. Our parties were legendary if anyone from Woodward recalls. Our Sunday favorite was City View Tavern. We were all underage. One of us looked old enough to be served. Buzz died from severe drug useage. I made contact with him and invited him to one of our reunions. He declined and I never spoke to him again. He lived in the fast lane.
Kathy, I must thank you for putting up with me in Mr. Ruley's class. Cutting the frog open and finding the Pearl in the oyster( even though no one except you believed me) was what being a Woodward student was all about. I am saddened to know that your life was cut short. I do hope your husband is able to read this and smile.

To all of the "65 Woodward classmates. My paternal grandfather his brother, sister and my great grandparents are from Konela, Ukraine. I have never been more proud of my ancestry and hope I hear from more of us. The nazis took their toll on this minor farm town during WWll. Now look what is happening again!
Several years ago our family was at The Cactus Pear. My moms first cousin, Francine Rafalo mentioned Art Paul as he was standing up to leave. I had not heard his name for scores of years, and all of a sudden he is standing in front of me. I asked? "Are you the same Art Paul from Woodward"? He said. "Well yes I am". Instantly I was flooded with memories. I started asking about "Bear", Paul Fleming and Sid Friedman. He gave me a great rundown on them. Now I am sorry to say I won't be able to follow up and find out more. If anyone reading this knows the whereabouts of Coach Fleming please say so. He was an outstanding baseball player at UC...
Irv, We go back a long time, including a friendship, and a very long standing friendship between our mom's.. To everyone that reads this. We must revere the time we are on loan here., and realize how thin the line is. Your smile and warmth will be missed by all of us that you touched...
