I met Mr. Ronald Aug through the Woodward Stage Crew, around 1963.  Mr. Aug was the Stage Crew Director, and proved to be an excellent Coach.  He mentored us on the latest stage effects on lighting, fast (quiet) scene changes, special lighting effects (e.g.: backlighting a second concurrent scene through a translucent 'scrim' curtain, etc.). For example during the play production of 'Johnny Tremain', Mr. Aug was instrumental in concurrently showing the hanging scene upstage and backlit through a scrim, while the main act proceeded downstage.  The entire Stage Crew appreciated Mr. Aug's creativity and coaching skills.

Regarding his Teaching about critical thinking, I learned much from his 'Modern History' class--knowledge still used today to answer questions from my Grandchildren!

God bless you Mr. Aug, I hope to discuss your lessons taught on 'Critical Thinking' with you someday.
